Greek Edition of The Flower of Chinese Buddhism Published
Greek edition of The Flower of Chinese Buddhism by Daisaku Ikeda
ATHENS Greece: Kedros Publishers has released a Greek edition of The Flower of Chinese Buddhism, the third and final work by Daisaku Ikeda in the "Soka Gakkai History of Buddhism" series that explores the transformation of Buddhism as it traveled from India to China and then on to the rest of the world. Danae Andavali undertook the Greek translation, based on Burton Watson's English translation.
The Greek editions of the first two books in the series, The Living Buddha and Buddhism, the First Millennium, were published in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
To date, The Flower of Chinese Buddhism has been translated into 12 languages including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, Danish, Indonesian, Spanish and traditional and simplified Chinese.
