Thai edition of The Wisdom of the Lotus Sutra, Volume 3
BANGKOK, THAILAND: Soka Gakkai Thailand has published The Wisdom of the Lotus Sutra, Volume 3 in Thai. In the work Daisaku Ikeda and three senior members of the Soka Gakkai Study Department--Katsuji Saito, Takanori Endo and Haruo Suda--share insights and interpretations of both the Lotus Sutra, held by many as the core teaching of Mahayana Buddhism, and of the writings of Nichiren, the 13th-century Japanese Buddhist teacher and reformer. They also examine the qualities of an engaged religion and its capacity to empower contemporary society in constructively addressing both human nature and a host of global challenges arising from people's destructive tendencies.
The English edition of The Wisdom of the Lotus Sutra is available in six volumes. To date, the book is also available in Japanese, French, German, Hangul, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Danish.
