Middleway Republishes The Living Buddha
LOS ANGELES, USA: Middleway Press has republished The Living Buddha: An Interpretive Biography authored by Daisaku Ikeda and translated by Burton Watson. The work is a historical narrative based on what is known or can be reasonably concluded about the life and times of Shakyamuni, who founded Buddhism in India some 2,500 years ago.
The Living Buddha was recently chosen in the U.S. as co-winner of the bronze 2009 Independent Publisher (IPPY) Book Award in the category of religion.
