A Dialogue between East and West Introduced at Mexican Book Fair

GUADALAJARA, Mexico: The Spanish edition of A Dialogue between East and West by Ricardo Diez-Hochleitner and Daisaku Ikeda was introduced on December 2, 2009, at the Guadalajara International Book Fair, the largest Spanish-language book fair in the world. The eight-day event featured works offered by 1,925 publishers from 40 countries and drew more than 600,000 visitors.

A Spanish edition of A Dialogue between East and West was released earlier this year by Circulo de Lectores and Galaxia Gutenberg of Spain. Circulos de Lectores is one of the largest book club publishers in Spain with a membership of 1.5 million people, while Galaxia Gutenberg offers the work to the general public.

Born in Spain, Diez-Hochleitner is an educational reformer, economist and honorary president of The Club of Rome think tank. The authors examine the issues confronting the global community and call for the inner transformation of all human beings, or a human revolution, drawing on the interconnectedness of all life and its environment.
