The Life Story of Daisaku Ikeda
After becoming president of the Soka Gakkai Buddhist organization at the age of 32, Daisaku Ikeda undertook a diverse range of activities in pursuit of peace. In addition to building the Soka Gakkai into a grassroots movement of empowered global citizens, he established the Soka Gakkai International and founded several peace-related institutions. He engaged in dialogues with a broad range of individuals from around the world and undertook citizen diplomacy for the sake of peace.
