SGI launches “Seeds of Hope” Exhibition
The “Seeds of Hope: Visions of Sustainability, steps toward change” exhibition is a successor to the “Seeds of Change” exhibition, first shown at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in 2002. The new exhibition consists of 24 panels stressing humankind’s interconnectedness with nature and the need to widen our sphere of concern, highlighting the fact that a single individual can initiate positive change. It also introduces the vision for sustainable living expressed in the Earth Charter. It was launched at the Earth Charter +10 event at the Peace Palace Academy on The Hague, in the Netherlands in June 2010.
